NIAGARA TO THE RESCUE

SUVA, This Day.
A few days out of Suva, the fifth engineer of the tanker W. B. Walker was taken seriously ill. A wireless call to the Niagara resulted in a diagnosis of acute appendicitis. The Niagara was diverted a hundred miles out of her course, the patient was transferred to her, and a successful operation was carried out.
