INTER-HOUSE GAMES
Appreciation of the progress made by the Wellington Inter-house Football Association is expressed in the annual report of the New Zealand Football Association.
eiYour couxscil notes with pleasure the success of the organisation affiliated to the Wellington Football Association with its competition held on Saturday mornings during the past two seasons," said the report. "Last year twelve entries were received, and many excellent games took place. It is confidently anticipated that during the forthcoming season an increasing number of entries will participate in this popular competition, and it is hoped that officials of affiliated associations will give their attention to this aspect of the game, which will be of considerable help to the Minister of Internal Affairs in his aim towards making the physical fitness campaign, in conjunction with the 40-hour week, a complete success."
