TUAPEKA HANDICAPS
Nightcalm split a pastern when racing at the New Zealand Cup Meeting in November, and the fracture was put in plaster. His excellent recovery was shown by his winning the Elderslie Handicap at the Oamaru Meeting last Saturday. He is a four-year-gld halfbrother to Membo, who won the Grand National Hurdles and finished his racing career in Australia. '
