PYJAMA GIRL CASE
IMPORTANCE STRESSED
SYDNEY, March 28
Detectives working on the "pyjama girl" case near Albury today pumped dry the waterhole in which a pair, of shoes which fit the feet of the murdered girl was discovered on Saturday, and found a pair of girl's bedroom slippers and a blouse, bearing dark stains, made from material resembling crepe.
These discoveries, following those of Saturday, are regarded as of the highest importance. All the garments, also the shoes, appear to have been in the water for quite four years. They will be sent to Sydney for expert examination.
