RUSSIA TAKES CROSSBREDS

(Received March 29, 12.5 p.m.)

LONDON, March 28

At the wool sales today 8771 bales were offered, including 3718 bales New Zealand, and 7793 were sold.

The selection was a poor one but it met with active competition. Russia operated moderately for New Zealand crossbreds.

Values generally were well maintained.
