A party of about 16 South African bowlers was met today after its arrival, by the Dominion Monarch by Mr. J. H. O'Donnell, president of the Wel« . lington Bowling Club, Mr. ,~L. Goldfinch, vice-president, and Mr.-- T> H».: Meadows, a director •of the club* and' '
arrangements were made for' four rinks; to play at the Wellington ;Club this afternoon.
The visit of the bowlers is in no way V an official tour, and although the bulk of the party may keep together several are going to various parts of th« country.
