RESULTS AT AUCKLAND

"I feel that we in New Zealand are on the verge of a tremendous.development in the. field of physical'fitness, therefore I am extremely pleased to be here," said the Hon. W. E. Parry in welcoming competitors to the first separate national junior and women's athletic cmampionships at Carlaw Park today. - He congratulated the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association on its initiative in- beginning junior and women's championships and paid a special tribute to the Auckland Centre which has worked for the championships.
