HISTORIC DOCUMENT FOUND
The original declaration of war by the United States against Britain in 1812 has just been discovered by charwomen cleaning a small basement room under the House of Representatives. This document with many others was believed to have been destroyed when the British set fire to the Capitol end the White House in August, 1814, states the "Daily Telegraph." It was found with others in brown paper packages, coated with dust, in old desks and cupboards. Other valuable, historical relics were discovered in an attic beneath the Capitol dome.
