REPORTED ACCEPTANCE
CHANGES IN CZECH CABINET
'(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.) (Received March 14, 1.40 p.m.) BERLIN, March 13. . Herr Hitler and Dr. Tiso and M. Durcanski, the recently-dismissed Slovak Premier and Labour Minister respectively, had a conference of forty minutes, after which a communique was issued stating: "Pending issues were discussed." A guard of honour and a roll of drums greeted Dr. Tiso, thereby giving an official character to his visit, despite Dr. Tiso's dismissal. j It is announced semi-officially that Germany is not sending a Note to \ Czecho-Slovakia demanding the right of Slovakian self-determination and j the reconstruction of the Prague Government, from which General Elias and General Sirovy shall be dismissed; also a guarantee of the protection of the German minorities in Bohemia and Moravia. Official circles -declare that Dr. Tiso, with German approval, will proclaim Slovak independence in the Czecho-Slovak Parliament on March 14. In Cz£ch circles it is stated that Czecho-Slovakia has accepted German demands for Slovak independence and has agreed to the Cabinet at Prague being reconstructed with the omission of Generals Elias and Sirovy. Dr. Tiso is flying to Bratislava this morning and is expected to make an important statement to Parliament.

Dr. Tiso, after his interview with Herr Hitler, requested an extraordinary session of the Slovak Parliament tomorrow morning, to which President Hacha has agreed. M. Mach, leader of the Hlinka Guards, announced that he had received a telegram from Dr. Tiso stating that the Slovak question had been solved on the basis of constitutional self-determination for the Slovaks... '
