S.B.J.Q. —The original names of the first Waimarino, Waihemo, and Waitomo were Lord Roberts (later renamed Wyandotte), Canada Cape, and Gifford. The Waimarino was sold to Chinese buyers in 1926, and renamed the King Sing. The Waihemo was torpedoed, and sank in the Mediterranean Sea on March 17, 1918, and the Waitomo was sold to Chinese buyers in 1933 and renamed the Meishun.
