YOUTH LOCATED
FIVE WEEKS IN BUSH
A CHARGE PREFERRED

DUNEDIN, This Day.
After eluding a search in dense bush near his home at ■ Wakari for five weeks, a youth, aged 17, was discovered in a horse box on the wharf by a constable last night. He was arrested on a charge of being idle and disorderly and having insufficient means of support.
In the Magistrate's Court today he was remanded for six days, to be kept apart from other prisoners. The Magistrate, Mr. J. ,R. Bartholomew, ordered the suppression of his name.
The fugitive's clothing was wet and torn ahd his physical condition poor; his diet having been mainly turnips.
