The weather was dull after heavy rain for the first day d'f the Dunedin Jockey Club's Summer Meeting at Wingatui, but the track was in fairly good order. There was a satisfactory i attendance. ! During the day the totalisator handled £18,194 as against £19,961 110s last year, a decrease of £ 1767 10s.
