OBITUARY
MR. J. L. F. BOYES
After a long illness, the death occurred on Tuesday of Mr. James Louis Frayne Boyes, who, for the past twenty years, was well known in Government and commercial circles throughout the Dominion.
Born in Dumfriesshire, Scotland, and possessing marked histrionic ability and fine literary tastes, he was, prior to his coming to New Zealand, assistant to the Professor of Elocution at Glasgow University and widely known in Scottish theatrical circles.
A man of great sympathy and wonderful understanding, he leaves a wife and son and a host of friends to mourn his passing.
