CASH AND JEWELLERY (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Bay. Cash and jewellery valued at about £400 were stolen from the home of Mr. P. McGirr, King Edward Street, near the Dominion Road Post Office, during the brief absence of the owners last night. The intruders entered the house through a back window and opened • safe. A ladder was used to reach! the window.
