DE LUXE THEATRE.
"Mr. Wong—Detective." At last the famous character from Collier's series of stories, James Lee Wong, appears on the screen. Commencing tomorrow at the De Luxe Theatre the first of the series of Mr. Wong pictures will be shown. This introduces another character masterpiece by Boris Xarloff. There have already been such characters as Mr. Moto and Charlie Chan to thrill audiences in unusual detective stories, and now Mr. Wong has arrived. Karliff has established himself as the logical contender for the throne vacated by Lon Chaney's death, and "with each new characterisation he more firmly establishes his popularity. His latest study as the mysterious Mr. Wong eclipses his past performances. Ihe associate feature is "His Exciting Night," which stars Charles Ruggles, who is ably supported in this comedy by Ona Munsen, Regis Toomey, Benny Baker, and the one and only coloured comedian, Stepin Fetchit.
