VAL LU AN IMPROVER
When Val Lv finished third to British Nation and Kaspian in the Hinuera Handicap at Matamata1 last Saturday he was having his first outing since filling the same position behind Sternchase and Corato at Te Rapa in November, and he looked as if he would be all the better for the race. He has registered a second and two thirds in three starts this season, and he is a good type of three-year-old who appears to be nicely placed in the Hot Springs Handicap at Rotorua this coming Saturday.
