"TWO-TON" GALENTO
SETBACK TO HOPES
BOXING BODY SUSPICIOUS
(Received February^, 9.30 a.m.), DETROIT, February 5. "Two Ton" Tony Galento's prospects of meeting Joe Louis for the world heavyweight title have suffered a setback through the Michigan Boxing Commission questioning the honesty of his defeat of Natie Brown last Friday. The commission has suspended Galento and banned Brown for life. Critics consider that Galento is r#erely a second-rate but picturesque fighter who is being ballyhooed into prominence. Nevertheless, he is the Na- | tional Boxing Association's choice as I first contender for the heavyweight title. |
