Luxford, S.M,, presided in the Magistrate's Court yesterday Kobert Archibald McDonald Johnston was fined 10s and costs for discharging a firearm; Ivan Armstrong was fined £1 and costs for being in possession of an unregistered rifle, and a similar amount for delivering a firearm without a permit; Jack Wilde was fined 10s and costs for procuring a rifle without a permit. Richard Hetherington. was fined £3, in default 14 days' imprisonment, for a breach of a prohibition order. He was allowed a week in which to pay.
