WELLINGTON MAN'S SUCCESS
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS, This Day. The Hawke's Bay provincial tennis championships were played at Waipukurau on Saturday. Most of the titles were won by visiting players. The results were: — Singles: Men, N. Smith (Wellington); women, Miss M. Macfarlane (Auckland). Doubles: Men, N. Smith (Wellington) and Plummer (Hawke's Bay); Women, Miss Glenny (Hawke's Bay) and Miss Macfarlane. Combined doubles: J. .bowry (Hawke's Bay) and Miss Macfarlane.
