"\TQTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the x; Hutt County Council proposes to raise under the provisions of "The Counties Act, 1920," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926," and their amendments and in pursuance of an Order in Council dated August .27, 1928, contained in the N.Z. Gazette of August 30, 1028, No. 66 at Page 2721 which conferred on the Hutt County Council certain powers of Borough Councils .with respect, to waterworks, and in pursuance of an Order in -Council dated September 16, 1936, contained in the N.Z. Gazette of September-17, 1936, No. ,62 at Page. 1745 which conferred on the 'Hutt County Council all the powers with respect to drainage and sanitation exercisable by a duly constituted Borough Council, and in pursuance and exercise of all other Acts powers and authorities it in that behalf enabling .a Loan of £4500 to be known as "Point Howard Water and Sewerage Loan 1935" for the purpose of installing a Water Supply and Sewerage System including engineer's charges and preliminary expenses m the Point Howard Special Rating Area in the Wainui-jo-mata Riding of the County of Hutt. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £4500. The proposed security .is a special annually-recurring -rate of twopence and fifteen one-hundredths of one. penny in the pound (2-15/100 din the £1) on the rateable value, on the basis of the Capital Value, of all property in the Point Howard -Special .Rating bDistrict in the Wainui-o-mata Riding of the County of Hutt, in accordance with the Special Roll of ratepayers advertised in the "Evening Post" on September :22, 1938.' The term for which the saiid Loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be twenty-five (25) years. The rate -of interest that.may be paid in respect of the said Eoan or any part thereof shall be such. as shall :not to the lender jor lenders a rate exceeding thres ; pounds ten shillings (£.3 10s) per centum per annum. The said Loan or any part thereof together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal aggregate half-yearly instalments extending over the term of tbe bLoan, viz., 25 years. It is proposed to pay out ol the Loan the cost of raising the Loan, but not the interest, principal, or sinking fund for the .first year.
