OTAGO REPRESENTATIVES
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, January 10.
The following will represent Otago at the New Zealand swimming championships next month: A. Thomas, 100 yards, 400 metres backstroke; W. Dyson, 100 and 220 yards breaststroke; D. Freeman, men's dive; Miss W. Dunn, 100 and 220 yards women's breaststroke; Miss I. Purdue, 100 and 220 yards women's backstroke and freestyle; Miss C. Garvin, 100 and 220 yards women's freestyle; Miss G. Rix, women's dive.
A meeting of the Otago Swimming Centre tonight decided, because •of lack of support, to abandon the Maori championships meeting to have been held in Dunedin next month.
