PREMIER'S DECLARATION

CAIRO, December 21
The Chamber of Deputies cheered the Premier (Mahmoud Pasha) when he declared that Egypt was democratic, "I am proud to declare openly," he said, "that neither I nor the Parliament of the country generally wishes to copy the methods of countries other than the real democracies."
