TELEPHONE FACILITIES
. Two additional "carrier" toll circuits were brought into operation between Wellington and Auckland today, increasing the number of circuits between the two centres to five. The new circuits will be a welcome addition to the toll system, and will obviate much delay to long distance calls which would otherwise be brought about by the heavy volume of traffic offering at this period of the year. •
