AUCKLAND, This Day.
Notices were issued today by the Auckland Education Board to approximately 170 students in the Auckland district intimating their selection for entrance to the Teachers' Training College in the New Year. The board's quota for 1939 is 228 and 58 students for admission have yet to be chosen from the balance of 360 applicants. For the first time on record male applicants outnumber females.
