Marylebone won the cricket match against North-eastern Transvaal by an innings and 76 runs. M.C.C, in their first innings, made 379 for six (declared). Transvaal made 161 in their first innings, and in their second 142 (Waller 32, Brown 35; Edrich took two wickets for 17 runs, Verity four for 20). *
