DISPUTE EXTENDED
LOADING OF PIG IRON
SYDNEY, December 13,
The pig iron dispute was extended today from the steamer Nellore to the Taiping, wharf labourers refusing to load several trucks of pig iron on the latter vessel despite an appeal by the secretary of their union, Mr. G. Mullins, to do so.
The Nellore will sail for China and Japan tomorrow without pig iron.
