SESSION IN SYDNEY
COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS
(Received December 14, 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. One hundred and fifty delegates from all parts of Australia, New Zealand, Britain, and the United States attended the first session in Sydney of the recently-formed Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
At the scientific session papers were read on a variety of specialised subjects. Professor Carmalt Jones, of the Otago University, at a subsequent dinner, in proposing the toast of the Governments of the Commonwealth, of the States, and of the Dominion of New Zealand, welcomed the foundation of the college and complimented the Government of New South Wales on the valuable assistance it had given to the college by a grant of £25,000 towards the construction of the college headquarters in .Sydney.
