GROWING ANTI-SEMITISM

MAY NOT TAKE PART IN REFUGEE PLAN

The Australian Associated Press learns that the Dominions Office recently received a number of communications from South Africa which direct attention to the growing threat of the, anti-Semitic movement. It is stated that this substantially contributed to the recent riots. Feeling is particularly strong in Johannesburg, where Jews dominate industry.
It is regarded as most likely * that South Africa will not participate in the schemes for the absorption of refugees.
