The Berlin correspondent of ehe "Daily Telegraph" says that Dr. Schacht's visit will be particularly devoted to inducing Britain to receive Jews under a goods voucher scheme and to trying to convince British industrialists of the desirability of the plan, under which the country receiving refugees will import goods to a value equivalent to that of the vouchers and pay their cash* value'to the Jews. Dr. Schacht hopes to prepare the ground for a visit by German industrialists to discuss details. Captain Fritz Wiedemann will go to London at the end of January. It is apparently believed that it is time to re-establish direct Anglo-Ger-man contact, and Captain Wiedemann is regarded as the most suitable man for the task. The subjects for discussion will depend upon international developments.
