PUBLIC LECTURE.
A public lecture on "The Persecution of the Jews" will be delivered in Nimmo's Hall, Willis Street, by Mr. V. R. Brown tomorrow at 7 p.m. In view of the pogrom in Germany, and the world-wide interest which has been manifested in the treatment of the Jews, this lecture, which will be illustrated with lantern slides, should be especially interesting. * Another address will be delivered in the same hall on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. It is entitled "Britain's Rise to Power." This lecture will also be illustrated with lantern slides.
