ALWAYS UNLUCKY COURSE
The late Keith Voitre found the Moonee Valley course always a most unlucky one for him. It was at the spot where his fatal accident occurred that he came to grief with Valiant Chief in the Quality Handicap at the Moonee Valley Second September Meeting in 1936, his left leg being so badly broken that he was out of the saddle for .more than twelve months. A few months ago, while at the post for the start of a riiile and a quarter handicap on the same course, hie was kicked so severely on the leg that he had to be lifted from the horse and another rider substituted.
