CALLS ON TELEPHONE
The Director-General pi the General Post Office advises that during the last few days a number of telephone subscribers have complained of the action of a lady ringing them to inquire to which broadcasting station they, are in the habit of listening. On being asked who is inquiring, it is understood the lady replies "Information Bureau." or ''Post and Telegraph Department." As these calls are causing annoyance to subscribers, the Director-General wishes it to be made known that the inquiries are not being made by a Post and Telegraph official nor have they any connection whatever with the Post and Telegraph Department.
