WORRIED TO DEATH
SUICIDES IN ENGLAND
(Received September 30, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, September 29. A gardener in Suffolk who committed suicide with a rifle had been worried for days over the international situation. A German-speaking clerk at Brixton, after listening to Herr Hitler's speech on September 12, declared, "Well, that means war." He was later found gassed in his bedroom.
