LEAGUE RESOLUTION
PEACEFUL SETTLEMENT ,
(Received September 30, 9 a.m.) GENEVA, September 29. . The League Assembly unanimously passed a resolution submitted by Mr v de Valera expressing the conviction:* •that the Czech problem can be solved, peacefully. It voices the prayer of all people that no Government will attempt a settlement by force. President Roosevelt's messages were welcomed. LONDON, September 29. A message from t Geneva says inters national opinion is strongly divided. I Some feel that the four^Power conference is virtually a surrender to the dictators. i ' The Russians are strongly against : the conference, seeing in it another proof of the desire of France and Britain to exclude Russia from the councils of Europe, ' ■■'.•'>
