At the Paekakariki links last Sunday Miss Lyndon (72 net) returned the best card in the L.G.U. round. In the semi-finals of the Canadian
foursomes, 'Miss James and Miss J. Smith beat Miss Robinson and Mrs. Marshall, 1 up; Miss Battersby and Miss Dorizac won from Miss Lynch j and Mrs. Lynch, by default. A teams match, captain v. secretary, will be played next Sunday, the j following being the teams: — Secretary's.—Miss Grimstone, Mrs. IF. Smith, Miss J. Smith, Miss Lyndon, Miss Simpson, Miss Proudfoot, Mrs. White, Miss B. Grimstone, Miss Lynch, Mrs Harper. Miss Sinclair, Miss Cartwright, Mrs. Brant, Miss Porteous, Miss Dorizac. > Captain's.—Miss R.
