• Yesterday was a very busy day in . the calendar of the Wellington 3 Y.M.C.A., no less than ten arranged ) functions being held. The full pro- - gramme represented, however, a typical day in the present season. 1 The Optimists' Club met at midday ' and were addressed by Mr. Charles c E. In the afternoon there c was a well-attended meeting of the i Ladies' Auxiliary, when plans were 7 completed for next Wednesday's an- - nual spring fair. In the gymnasium 1 the business men's physical fitness session at 5 o'clock was followed by the employed boys' gym. period and by the men's apparatus and . calisthenics , class, the two latter groups concenf trating on practice for the annual • gymnastic carnival to be held at the ; end of next week.
