"MUDDLED AS EVER"
Throughout a recent address at Macandrew Bay, the National Party's candidate for the Dunedin Central seat, Mr. W. J. Meade, was continually being interrupted by a member of the audience who sat near the front of the hall. When question time came, however, Mr. Meade had his revenge. At the request of his interlocutor he had be6n at pains to explain how the National Party proposed to finance its health and superannuation scheme. Although the rest of the audience appeared to be satisfied, the questioner professed himself "still as muddled as ever." "I am afraid that is not altogether my fault," was Mr. Meade's quick rejoinder.
