UNUSUAL END TO BOXING BOUT
LONDON, September 28.
Jack Doyle was knocked out in. the second round of a boxing contest with Eddie Phillips. Lunging fiercely, Doyle missed Phillips and the ihipetus carried him through the ropes. He struck his head on the.edge of the ring, knocking himself out.
