Discount and short-term interest rates are quoted as follows:—Day-to-day loans, i per cent.; fine trade bills, three months, 3 to 3 £ per cent.; bank bills, three months, If per cent; six months, 2£ percent.; Treasury bills, two months,; 1 13-16 per cent., three months, 1 13-16 per cent.
