SUDETEN OPINION

REPORTED .OPPOSITION TO

CESSION

(Received September 29, 10 a.m.)

LONDON, September 28,

A message from Prague says that German Democratic, .Socialist, and Communist deputies who claim to speak for over a million people, in addition to 100,000 former Henleinists who refused to participate in the recent putsch, issued a statement declaring that the majority of the Sudetens are opposed to cession of the Sudetenland.

The Sudeten German Democrats sent a message to the British members of Parliament reaffirming their adherence to the Czechoslovak State and relying on the solidarity of the great democracies.

The Paris correspondent of "The Times" says refugees from Austria and the Saar at Bordeaux offered to fight for France against Herr Hitler. The Czechoslovak colony in France followed their example.
