TO BE PLAYED MEANWHILE

The secretary of the English Football League states that Saturday's Association matches will be played as scheduled unless a state of emergency is declared. * Today's football results include:—• Rugby Union. —R. F. Oak's and W. T. Pearce's International XV v. Bristol, 16-3; Bridgens v. Cardiff, 3-0. Rugby League.—Bradford v. Hunslet, 18-0; York v. Huddersfield, 0-8; Lancashire Cup, semi-final, Wigan v. Liverpool, 13-9.
