IRISH RECRUITING APPEAL
LONDON, September 28.
The Irish Defence Department has appealed for recruits. Officials of the Dublin Corporation conferred with the Defence Department to consider airraid precaution schemes.
Mr. De Valera, from Geneva, telegraphed to Mr. Chamberlain: "Let nothing daunt you or deflect you in your efforts for peace."
