NEW POLICE STATION

PALMERSTON N., This Day.
The Minister in charge of the Police Department (the Hon. P. Fraser) laid the foundation-stone of a new police station in the presence of a large gathering. He stressed the fact that so important a police district needed a new station and facilities. He mentioned other districts in similar need. The Minister congratulated the Police Force on its efficiency.
