MANOR PARK CLUB
The following competitions will be played on the Manor Park links at the weekend:—
On Saturday afternoon there will be an 18-hole bogey, and on Sunday the final rounds of the Harrower Cup. In the morning there will be an 18-hole stroke competition, and for those players out of the running in the Harrower Cup there will be a fourball bogey in the afternoon.
In the sixth round of the junior twolife competition, L. J. Smith and Dawson beat H. J. Smith and Brickman, 1 up; Swanson and Glennie beat Elsmore and Baker, 2 up. The draw, for the seventh round is Swanson and Glennie v. Marshall and Bilderbeck; Smith and Dawson, a bye.
In the senior two-life, Page and Radford will play Woodhouse and Ninnes on Sunday morning.
The second round of the veterans' cup will be completed next Sunday, and the second round of the championships by October 9.
