J. McDonald, 33 points, was the:whirner of the stableford played on th° Strathmore Park links on Saturday.
S. Smith took the flag, half-way u- xthe 19th fairway to win a flag match. In the final of the ladies' senior championship Mrs. Farmer beat Mrs. Millier, 4 and 3.
In the semi-finals of the men's senior championship, played over 36 holes, Aitken beat L. Tucker 11 and 10 and Payne beat Dobbie 1 up. at the 39th.
In a second-round match in ; the junior championship, Wright beat Innes, 5 and 4.
Competitions for the weekend are as follows:—
Saturday.—Ladies, stableford; men, bogey.
Sunday.—Vice-president v. captain teams match with trophies for the best net scores in each team. Partners will be arranged at the clubhousevand play will start at 8.45 a.m. '
