In the second match of its tour, the Eastern Suburbs Rugby League team from Sydney beat Manukau by 10 points to 7 after leading by 10 points to 2 at half-time.
For Suburbs Dunn (2), Robinson, and Pierce scored tries, and Norton converted two. For Manukau Chase kicked a penalty goal, Ririnui scored a try, and Chase converted it.
