Mr. W. A. Clark, National Party candidate for Thames, addressed over 300 people last evening. He strongly criticised the Government's policy, particularly the housing and social security schemes. He gave a comprehensive survey of the National Party policy. At the conclusion of the address a motion expressing confidence in the candidate and in the National Party was carried unanimously. The Mayor, Mr. S. Ensor, presided.
