HON. W. NASH IN THE NORTH

AUCKLAND, This Day,
The Minister of Finance (the Hon. W. Nash) arrived by the Limited express from Wellington and left immediately by motor-car for Whangarei, where he will open the Brynderwyn deviation on the State highway. He will deliver a political address at Whangarei tonight, and will speak at Dargaville tomorrow night. Mr. Nash was met by a number of friends at the Auckland station. He expressed to them confidence that the Government would be returned. He had no comment to make on the international situation.
