HASTINGS, This Day. The North Island 100-mile road racing championship, held m the Napier and Hastings districts, resulted ln a win for O. Disley, Wellington, ! who made the fastest time. The course was over three laps of 33 1-3 miles each, and from Stortford Lodge it led to the Pongland's turn-off, through Pukahu, Havelock North, dive, Napier, Taradale, Waiohiki, and Pakowhai, and back to Stortford Lodge, where those who finished were greeted by 500 people. ** placings were as follows:—P.
