The Foreign Office spokesman said that a settlement of the Czech ques? tion was impossible unless the demands of Poland and Hungary were taken into consideration. Poland would not accept a decision involving discrimination against Polish interests concerning the time and method of settlement. Reports from Zscheu state that fighting occurred between Polish civilians and Czech soldiers, who fired on crowd. Two Poles were billed and ten wounded.
